The Porsche Cayman R was an end of production special based on the 2009 Cayman S. It featured a host of extras as standard including an Aero kit and special lightweight 19-inch wheels.  The Cayman R weighs 55 kg lighter than a normal Cayman S. To achieve this weight saving, Porsche deleted various components including the cupholders, door sill guards and the instrument cluster surround. The inner door handles were replaced with “pull-tags” and lighter doors from the 911 GT3 were also fitted.

The suspension on the Cayman R was also re calibrated and lowered by 10 mm or 20 mm with the optional active suspension. The car is powered by a direct fuel injection naturally aspirated 3.4L flat six that puts out 243 kw and 370 nm of torque. The R can accelerate from 0-100 in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 280kph. Only 1 621 units were produced.

This specific car is a 2012 Cayman R PDK with 49 500 km on the clock and a full-service history with Porsche SA. Finished in beautiful Basalt Black Metallic with black interior, it is a nicely spec’d car featuring the following optional extras:
