The Porsche 997 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 range, manufactured between late 2004 and 2013. It replaced the Porsche 996 range and was superseded by the Porsche 991. The 997 range was updated in 2009, including styling changes and, most significantly, a revised engine with direct injection and the introduction of the PDK gearbox.

The refreshed 997 Turbo was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. It received an all-new 3.8L 6-cylinder engine, with several very important improvements from the previous engine, starting with revised VTG turbochargers and an Alusil block, that combines cylinders and crankcase into an integrated casing, reducing weight. The dry sump lubrication system on the Turbo uses integrated oil reservoirs at the bottom of the engine, with six oil pumps, one per cylinder. Direct fuel injection, larger intake manifolds, a refined exhaust system and a 10kg weight saving all contributed to an output of 368kW, almost 500Hp! Factory claims zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and top speed of 312km/h, although several magazines achieve an acceleration time of closer to 3.0 seconds, some even sub 3 seconds!

This specific car is a 2010 997 Turbo with the new PDK gearbox. Finished in Carrara white with black interior, it has done only 38 800kms from new. Besides the beautiful centre lock rims from the Turbo S, Standard an optional extras on the car include:
