2007 Porsche 911 GT3 (997)
The 997 GT3 was revealed in February 2006. It is now commonly referred to as the 997.1 GT3, with a 3,6L flat-six engine producing 305kW, or 414 hp. It was the first GT3 to feature “zero lift” aerodynamics. The car only created aerodynamic down force and no “lift” away from the road surface. It also features a track orientated Porsche Active suspension Management (PASM), making it the very first GT3 with electronically adjustable suspension.
Zero to 100km/h came up in 4,1 seconds and top speed was 311km/h. Road and Track magazine achieved a zero to 100km/h time of 3,8 seconds!
