The first Porsche 911 type 997 cars were delivered in November 2005. The 997 replaced the 996 and was basically an evolution of the 996 with mechanical and cosmetic changes and improvements. The most notable exterior change was the replacement of the so called “fried egg” headlamps to the new and more appealing “buy-eye” lights.

The Carrera S has a 3.8L flat six engine producing 280kW. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.7s and has a top speed of 300km/h!

The Carrera S was spec’d with the following additional features:

• Increased displacement of the engine (3.6L to 3.8L) with increased power.
• Lowered suspension with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management).
• 19-inch wheels.
• Upgrading braking system from the 911 Turbo.

This specific car is a 2006 997 Carrera S with 105 000 km on from new with a full service history. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic with all black leather interior. Factory fitted extras include full leather package, navigation, multifunction steering wheel, Bose sound system, sunroof, short shift gear change, sports exhaust, Porsche crests embossed on the front seats, sport seats with memory package, colored seatbelts in red and colored center caps.
