2003 Porsche Boxster (986)(FOR SALE)
The Porsche Boxster was introduced in late 1996 as a 1997 model. It was the first Porsche to be designed as a roadster since the Porsche 550 Spyder which was introduced in 1953. The name “Boxster” was derived from the words: boxer (referring to the engine layout) and roadster (referring to the body style). The early Boxster came with a 2.5L flat six and the Boxster S with a 3.2L flat six.
This specific car is a 2003 Boxster. The Boxster received a facelift in 2002 with a few cosmetic changes, the most important change the rear window on the soft top now made of glass instead of the plastic on the older cars. Engine capacity went from a 2,5L to a 2,7 L on the normal Boxster and power up to 165kW.
This car is finished in Biarritz white with a Metropol blue interior and a blue soft top. It also has the 17-inch rims on from the later S model. It has done 79000kms and has a good service history from the Porsche Agents and Porsche Specialists.
The Porsche Boxster is arguably the best roadster in the world and this car is a good example at a very attractive price.
