The BMW M-Coupe was first introduced in 1998 and was produced until 2002. The car was originally developed to address the lack of torsional and structural rigidity in the Z3, and the engineers were only given the green light once they proved that the production of the car would be cost effective. They achieved this because many of the parts were interchangeable with those of the Z3. The M-Coupe is relatively rare as only 2999 models were produced with initial sales very slow.

The S50 engine used was the same as that on the E36 M3, developing 236kW and 350Nm of torque. Zero to 100 km/h took 5,3 seconds and top speed was over 240km/h.

This specific car is a 1999 model with 134 734kms on from new! It has a good service history and is finished in stunning Imola Red with black leather interior.  The car is completely original and has been meticulously maintained. This must be one of the best examples of a car that has a serious cult following and has become a real modern-day classic!
