The BMW E36 is the third generation of the 3 Series produced between 1990 and 2000. It was initially introduced as a sedan, but coupe, cabriolet, touring and hatchback versions were later added to the line-up. The most significant change to the E36 compared to its predecessor was the multi-link rear suspension. Other advances were made in the safety department by means of airbags, ABS brakes and stability management systems.

The E36 M3 was introduced in 1992. Unlike its E30 predecessor, it was not a homologation special meaning it was not developed with racing in mind. The first cars came with the S50 3.0L inline six and a five-speed manual gearbox. The 1995 facelift models received a 3.2L version of the S50 inline six producing 236kW and 350Nm of torque. Power was delivered to the rear wheels via a   six-speed manual gearbox. As part of the facelift line up in 1995, a four-door sedan version of the M3 was added.

This specific car is a 1998 E36 M3 Sedan. Finished in Dakar Yellow with a light grey leather interior. It has covered only 79 550 km from new and has a comprehensive service history.

These cars are becoming increasingly rare especially in a mostly standard condition like this example. A great car to own whether you are a collector or an enthusiast looking for a nice classic BMW!
