1991 Mercedes Benz 500SE (FOR SALE)
The Mercedes Benz W126 was a series of cars manufactured by Mercedes Benz between 1979 and 1991. It was only the second generation of S-Class cars built by Mercedes Benz and in the 12 years of production just over 900 000 sedans and coupes were produced, making the W126 by far the most successful generation of the S-Class to date, and the longest in production.
The W126 design team was led by chief designer Bruno Sacco, and after six years of development the W126 four-door saloon cars were finally introduced in September 1979 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The C126 Coupe models followed in September 1981. The design was more aerodynamic than its predecessor but still retained the unmistakable S-Class design elements.
This specific car is a 1991 500 SE sedan, the last year of production before the car was replaced by the W140. It was powered by the 5.0L V8 engine, producing 185kW and 390Nm, and it could reach a top speed of 230 km/h very comfortably. It is a two-owner car with a good service history and extensive mechanical maintenance work done recently.
