The second generation of the BMW 3 Series was called the E30 and was produced from 1982 to 1994. The model range included a two-door Coupe, a Cabriolet, a 4-door Sedan as well as a Station wagon. There were various 4-and 6-cylinder engines available with manual or automatic transmissions.

The E30 gained cult status in South-Africa and a few “SA only “models were produced at the Rosslyn Factory near Pretoria, like the legendary 325iS and 333i! The E30 is affectionately known as the “Gusheshe”, and also as the “Matchbox BMW” amongst BMW fanatics.
