The Porsche 924 was introduced in November 1975. Just over 150000 cars were built between 1976 and 1988. The 944, introduced in 1983 was supposed to replace the 924 but 924 production continued up to 1988. The last 924 S models had the same engine as the 944.

The 924 Turbo was first introduced in 1978, utilizing the turbo technology Porsche engineers used on several race cars as well as the 1974 Porsche 930 Turbo. The turbo charged engine produced 180 hp and allowed the 924 to match the performance of the bigger 928 and came remarkably close to the performance of the 911 SC. Top speed was 230km/h and zero to 100 km/h took 6,9 seconds.

This specific car is a 1983 Porsche 924 Turbo finished in Guards red with black interior. With very few examples remaining in existence, the 924 Turbo is becoming highly sought after, particularly examples like this which presents very well in all aspects. The car has done 13400kms with a partial service history available. The car is highly original and although it shows a few signs of a 41-year-old car, it is both mechanically and cosmetically in outstanding condition!
