The Mercedes W123 cars were produced between 1976 and 1986. It surpassed its predecessor, the W114 as the most successful Mercedes range by selling 2.7 million cars before it was replaced by the W124 at the end of 1985.

The four door cars were the first models to be released on 29 January 1976. All the engines were retained from the W115 range. Styling was updated although there were some stylistic links to the W115 as well.

This specific car is a somewhat rare 1982 230 CE 2-door coupe. The car has done 251 000 kms from new and has a partial service history. The car is finished in Ivory with a brown cloth interior. The interior, although not original, was redone very tastefully and compliments the car. This car is in very good condition but by no means a concours winning car. It is a very beautiful and usable everyday classic car!
