1970 Lola T212 Race Car (FOR SALE)
Are you looking for a race car for sale?
The Lola T210 and its evolution the T212 were designed, developed and built by British manufacturer Lola. They were built as Groupe 6 sports prototype race cars for the European 2-Litre sports car racing championship in 1970. Only 16 of the original chassis were built, most of them sold to private owners. The Lola T210 and the T212 were very successfully campaigned and several well know race drivers like Ronnie Peterson, Mike Hailwood and Emerson Fittipaldi won many races in these cars between 1970 and 1975.
This specific car is a replica of a 1970 T212. The car was built in 2000 from Lola T212 specification drawings. The car weighs only 560 kg and is fitted with a Lexus Beams 2.0L engine with dry sump oil system, producing 180kW. It has a 4-speed Hewland gearbox and a Hewland differential. This car has been very successfully campaigned and has won countless trophies over a period of 22 years. It was built to be reliable and has been very well maintained. As it was raced regularly there are some obvious signs of the cars track and race use over the years, but nothing of real concern. More details and specifications available on request.
This is a well-built, reliable, and very successful Lola T212. It is a very competitive car to take to track days. It has a purpose-built trailer, available as a separate transaction.
