2013 Land Rover Defender Melville and Moon Edition
The Land rover Defender was initially called the Land Rover Ninety and the Land Rover One Ten. This car was developed from the original Land Rover Series cars, which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in 1948. In 1990, a number of changes and improvements were made to the car and the name was changed to Defender for the first time.
This specific car is a 2013 Defender “Melville and Moon Edition”, fitted with the 2,2 L Ford ZSD-422 engine. The previous owner did not like the seat covers and decals and took them off. The beautiful polished rims, also part of the special edition package are still on the car. This car has done 68,000kms from new and has a full service history with the Agents and Specialists. Apart from the additional bull bar, snorkel and tow bar fitted to this car, it also has a Frontrunner roof rack as part of the package.
In 2016, 68 years after the launch in 1948 and more the 2,000,000 cars later, production of the Defender was stopped.
This is a great example of this iconic British 4×4 vehicle available at a very reasonable asking price.
