1999 BMW M Coupe
The M Coupé, was introduced in 1998 and produced through to 2002. Many parts are interchangeable between the BMW Z3 which made it very cost effective to produce. The car was originally developed to address the torsional and structural rigidity or lack thereof in the Z3. The M Coupe is a relatively rare car with as little as 2 999 units produced with the S50 engine when compared to the 15 000 Z3s produced.
This car features the S50 engine mentioned above. The S50 engine was the same engine used in the E36 M3 which produces 236 kW and 350 Nm of torque. This was enough to get the car from 0 -100 in 5.3 seconds and on to a top speed of over 240 kph. Finished in Arctic Silver with black and red leather interior, this car has been very well kept over its years.
A beautiful example of a car that has become a cult classic. True BMW M heritage is represented by this car which is an absolute blast to drive!
