1984 Ferrari 308 Quattrovalvole
The Ferrari 308 was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1975. The car was styled by Pininfarina and replaced the Dino 246.
It was fitted with a 3.0L V8 engine and equipped with four twin-choke Weber 40 DCNF carburetors. The engine produced 188kW or 252hp at 6600rpm. For the European markets the car was fitted with a dry sump.
The Ferrari 308 was made famous by the television series Magnum PI and in 2004 Sports Car International named the 308 as number 5 on their list of Top Sports Cars from the seventies!
Ferrari launched the 308 Quattrovalvole at the Paris motor Show in 1982. The car now had 4 valves per cylinder and power output was 179kW or 240hp. The new car could be recognized by a slim louvered panel in the front lid to aid radiator exhaust air exit. THE QV also featured power operated mirrors with small enamel Ferrari badges on them and a redesigned radiator grille with rectangular driving lights on each side. There were a few changes to the interior as well including a three spoke satin black steering wheel with a triangular center.
This specific car is a 1984 308 GTB QV with 98000 kms from new and a good service history with the Agents. It is finished in Rosso Corsa with black leather interior. The car is absolutely perfect, not a cent to spend. A beautiful Italian sports car for a very discerning car enthusiasts!
