1971 Jaguar XJ6
The Jaguar XJ is a luxury saloon produced by Jaguar since 1968. From 1970 it was Jaguars flagship 4 door model. The original XJ was the last Jaguar saloon car with input from Sir William Lyons, the founder of the company. The car has been featured in many media and other high-profile appearances and is regarded by some as the best classic four door saloon.
This specific car is a 1971 XJS with only 100 000kms from new. It is a one owner car that has been in the family since new. It was used as a family car when the kids were young. It is still in use but nowadays the car gets driven to the car was or every now and then gets used for a special occasion. Apart from the wheels it is 100% original. The car has never been in an accident and still has flawless original paintwork and interior. The car is finished in beautiful brown with a biscuit interior. It is powered by a 2,8 L straight six-cylinder engine producing 134kW or 180 hp. Top speed was 184km/h and zero to 100 took 12,4 seconds!
