1967 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior Stepnose
The Alfa Romeo GT Junior was part of a range of Alfas known as the 105 series cars. They shared the same floor plan, engines and transmission but different body shapes.
Body shapes were designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone. The cars were a beautiful balance between glass and metal and the flat front grille with incorporated headlamps was a distinguishing feature of the cars.
All the models had the light weight all alloy 4-cylinder overhead cam engine with twin side draft carburetors. Engine capacity ranged from 1290 cc to 1962 cc. The cars had a 5 speed manual transmission and had disc brakes front and rear. The 1300 GT Juniors were produced between 1966 and 1976 and appealed to buyers who wanted a stylish two door Italian sports car but either did not require the maximum engine power or could not afford the taxation on larger engines in some markets.
This specific car is a 1967 1300 GT Junior Stepnose. Indicated mileage on the odometer is 92853 kms. The car presents very nicely and runs well but needs to be tidied up with a few trim parts needed, including a right front 1/4 window and rubber. It is fitted with beautiful 15-inch rims and new tyres.
This is a beautiful Italian classic sports car that can be enjoyed as is or be restored to its former glory!
